I'm very selective about on-line sites, etc. and THIS one is terrific
I probably won't be asking too much here -- as I'm busy with many things now. I don't spend too much time on-line (it's usually intermittent)
BUT on breastcancer.org..--under TNBC discussion section one woman has provided a link to Oprah's community forum, etc. which, I think, is beneficial.. as African Americans make up about 30% of TNBC patients
I know that she has profiled tnbc .

Thank you very much for letting everyone know.

The more exposure we have - the better remembered we will be - and more interest wil be generated.  We may only be 15% to 20% but we are no shrinking violets.

Keep well and keep us posted on your progress.

Love,
Connie

Yes, we need to champion our own cause and spread awareness. None of the lay persons I have talked to knew about TNBC. They hear BC and think that the recent huge strides in BC, e.g. hormonal therapies, Herceptin, etc help us.

This site is great because it brings us TNBC sisters together. Some of us are white, latino, afro, asians, etc. but here we just are TNBC sisters.
