I realize that I'm coming into this thread kind of late, but I noticed that there were some of you who live in Northern California (Campbell (my daughter lives there), Saratoga, etc.). I live in Pacific Grove, and I meet so few women who share my experience. I just want to say hi to the ladies near me--it's nice to know that you're not so far away. Love, Rena

This is a TOTALLY LATE post but, are "teckhard" and I the only ones from North Carolina. I live near Wilson, NC. Near by cities are Rocky Mount, Goldsboro, Kinston, Raleigh, Greenville. Houston area. How great it would be to be able to meet with so many of you.
Wouldn't it be great to have a 3 day weekend getaway where we all meet for fellowship / fun / relaxation?? This could be achieved for all, not just those in the same cities. We could choose a central? non central? meeting place... |

Dx June 06 stage 1 at age 46, no nodes, clean margins, Ki-67 at 54, Bilateral Mastectomy, 4 rounds AC, complete hysterectomy Aug O7. Mother and Grandmother both died of breast cancer dx in their 30's.

Hello,
Just found out that the breast cancer I just whipped was Triple Negative. I was a little discouraged with the re-occurence rates, but I'm praying that it never comes back.
I'm in Big Bear, California (3 hours out of Las Vegas).
Dx: 7/15/08
8 cycles study: Taxotere/Capcytobine then AC
Radical Mastectomy-R: 2/28/09 9 out of 16 nodes effected
3 cycles Taxotere/Capcytobine
Radiation: 30
Remission: 6/25/2009
