Dear all,

I had the honor of working with Dr. Nanda a few months ago when she helped a patient.

I found her to be an extremely bright, caring physician. 

Arlene, thanks for posting this. I think it should be very worthwhile and I am going to try to attend.


I am a BRCA1+ grandson, son and father of women affected by breast/oc-my daughter inherited mutation from me, and at 36, was dx 2004 TNBC I am a volunteer patient advocate with SAGE Patient Advocates

Rita Nanda, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine and associate director of the Breast Medical Oncology Program at the University of Chicago School of Medicine. She specializes in treating triple-negative, early onset, hereditary and locally-advanced breast cancers. Her research interests include identifying novel therapies that will improve outcomes for people with breast cancer.

She is a strong proponent of using chemotherapy prior to surgery, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, to better understand how an individualís tumor responds to therapy.
