Having a revision done on my left (non cancer) side.  There is one area that won't heal because of a seroma that found a weak spot in the incision  and decided that was a good place to drain from.

I am also getting a wound vac that day instead of a drain.  Not sure if I am happy about that or not.

This is a good way to get out of having to cook for the family Christmas get together thoughWink

Good luck on your upcoming surgery.  Hope it will heal correctly this time.  What's a wound vac?  Never heard of it.  Sounds like a little dust buster that soaks up the drainage, LOL.  Is it more comfortable than those drain tubes?

Sit back and let others cook for you.Smile

I hope it is more comfortable than the drains!!  It pretty much is how you described it.  It sucks the fluid out of the wound.  I have no idea how it is attached so this will be a learning situation.
