Hi,

Forum for: All Stages.   Young adults.

Noticed a post on another forum today by a new member hoping to find other
members with Stage III in their late 20's.

After starting the forum topic: Stage III. Age: 20's-30's.....started thinking.
Was wondering if we had a forum topic/thread for the young members on the
forum. Know some cancer centers have a young adults clinic/department.
So many issues are the same for all ages. At the same time, there are so many
issues for different age groups. ( Young adults: new marriages, children, beginning
careers, expectations one is just beginning one's life, just beginning financial savings
with the cost of cancer care, fertility issues and so on.)

If any one knows of a already existing TNBC thread/forum topic for young adults,
would you please post it.

If one considers them self a young adult, then you are.
(Some consider young adults to be in their 20's and 30's and some will include
early 40's. Let's consider: if you think you are a young adult, then you are ...on
this website.)   The forum is started for the concerns and questions and sharing
of the young adults. (One does not need to be a young adult to post or express
ideas on this forum.....just try to remember forum is for young adult concerns.)

Was not sure if there would be an interest for this forum topic.......won't know
unless one was started.

To start, if any one knows of resources specifically for young adults with breast
cancer or history of breast cancer, consider sharing.
(Have seen these mentioned elsewhere on the forum but unable to find them
right now.)

With caring and positive thoughts to all,

Grateful for today...............Judy

For all of the young women here or coming here....you are most welcome..TNBC Foundation is a truly wonderful resource. My daughter was 36 when she was very diagnosed 7 years ago and she is NED (No Evidence of Disease) now. I am truly sorry you have need to be here but glad you found us.
