Thanks for the Snow Dog clip. I bet that dog was tired after all that romping and tunneling.
It only went to 103.3 on my breezeway thermometer this afternoon. At about 3:30 pm I noticed the air conditioner was not running. I immediately placed a service call to my husband. He thought I was kidding. He said I will put you on the list. Ha..Ha...Ha...
Anyway 30 minutes or so later I remembered he always asks people if they've checked the circuit breaker when I hear him talking to people. So I checked the circuit breaker and it was tripped. I reset the circuit breaker and the air conditioner came back on. I called my husband to report that I had fixed the unit. He said, "what numbers are on the circuit breaker" and I said 30. He said it should be 40 to accommodate that unit in 103 degree weather. Who Knew???
Anyhow, the breaker is tripped again. It getting hotter and hotter in here. Donald has gone to Lowe's to get a 40 amp circuit breaker. I'm just praying they have one left like he needs.
We've lived in this house 16 years and today is the first time I ever knew the circuit breaker was undersized. Of course this is the first time it has been to 103 degrees since 1952 according to the weatherman. I was just a little girl that day, living in the country, and had never heard of an air conditioner. I didn't die that day from heat stroke, so maybe I'll be OK until he gets home from Lowe's and replaces the circuit breaker.
Just felt like sharing with all of you after seeing that Dog In The Snow!!!

I have Bailey on my list of Favorites, he's just so great. I was watching news about the record breaking heat and I thought, oh my I hope all the ladies are drinking their water! And then there's the pictures of the roads buckling from the heat...drive safe!

Yesterday when I was going for my chest xray, the thermostat on the car said 106 degrees. Trying to limit the time outdoors for sure. I've been turning the thermostat up to 80 during the day to keep the unit from running all the time. I feel so sorry for the people (and animals) that have to be outside during the day.

Satchie is my 5th and I will be the first to admit that I am addicted to them. He is the best friendmaker imagineable...big head hanging out the car door wherever we go ready to say Howdy.
