I am so thankful for this website and I wish it were available to me in 3/06. We all so desperately search for "like" people. Such an insight and inspiration.

So, I'm searching now for TNBC mets. Caryn and I have corresponded and will keep on I hope, but I thought I'd look for more cronies to chat with. I like picking everyone's brain as I begin AGAIN down this fearful path of what to do!

Originally dx 3/06 - lumpectomy, chemo - taxotere and cytoxin, radiation - did great til lump on my lung developed to many and lymph nodes. About to start the chemo route again and searching for the best options.

Love to hear from anyone.

Hi, Wendy,

Sorry to see you here. There is a forum for recurrence and metastasis and if you will introduce yourself there, you'll get lots of response. We metsters sometime tend to keep to ourselves because it can be a scary path and we try not to frighten those who may be new to a diagnosis.

I was dx with mets just before Christmas, several mediastinal nodes, and I've been on carboplatin and taxotere since then. I had a PET scan after three treatments that showed NED, and I'm getting three more tx's to consolidate those results. I will have a CT scan next week, and if the results are still clear, I will go on a chemo break.

I thought this site was for everyone to share all news.

Q: Is there a separate TNBC site for metsters?

How will I know to make extra special prayers for you guys if you disappear from here.

Are you talking about bcmets.org?

I'm sure it's scarey ... and difficult for you all but I need to hear all of your voices.

No, I'm talking about the forum within this site "TNBC Metastasis / recurrence users) . At the top of the page, click "forums" and you will find us. bcmets.org is a good one, but not just for triple negs.
