This may be an idle question, but is anyone gathering the names of researchers/clinicians with special interest in triple negative breast cancer?  The TN meeting before the San Antonio Breast Cancer conference must have had a sign-in, for instance.

I have lots in information but it's not organized well.  And if we could find promising researchers, we might focus our money to push the research.

Was there a report from that meeting on TN last December? Where is the research heading?  Is there a coordinator to make that special meeting happen again?

Sorry for all the questions.  Who is our "librarian" for this subtype of breast cancer?

Hi Alma,

Just on top of my head: Lisa Carey, Eric Winer, Joyce O'Shaughnessy, Hope Rugo.  There are a couple more but I couldn't remember them now.

So, are you volunteering to be the "librarian"?

Best regards for you!

Thanks for those names. I intend to listen to the teleconferences in April and June, so I'll become more acquainted with them.

I am not volunteering to be the librarian, and certainly not if someone else has the literature together and organized. I have some research gathered, but it's all over the triple neg block: basal-cell, triple neg, typical medullary, BRCA1, radiation, and so forth. This is not a simple pattern to crack so the threads run through other parts of the tapestry.

Should we be posting research items in a separate corner as well as right next to the topic that brings up the research? Just an idle thought here.

Alma

All the drs who attended the TNBC Symposium were selected on the basis of their commitment to tnbc research. You can find a complete list on this website. Go to TNBC Events, click on past events, 2007 tnbc symposium. On that page you will see a link to the list of attendees.
