"I recently read that cancer has now surpassed heart disease as the number one problem"

Hi Lucky, I read the above quote in one of your emails and just wondered if you have a link where we could see that cancer has now replaced heart disease as the number one problem?  Is this for just women or for everyone?  I know they are starting to consider cancer chronic.  I would really be interested in reading this, I hadn't seen anything on this yet but then I live in the boonies so no surprise there. LOL

Hi,

It was on the news here, on City Pulse News  in Toronto Canada.  I'm sure there was also a more recent one on the news after this particular article.    I then did a google on it and typed in
cancer deaths surpass heart disease.  Several links came up.
Here is one of them:

http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/news/story.html?id=9acdc7e1-7477-4a53-aa0d-e8952dc84c91&k=0 - http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/news/story.html?id=9acdc7e1-7477-4a53-aa0d-e8952dc84c91&k=0

My guess would be that if it's increased in Canada -  it also has increased in the States .    Shocked

No trouble at all trip.  I'm always glad to share anything I know or read about.
It all seems to tell me that there needs to be just as much emphasis put on cancer as there is on heart disease.

I just did as you said and googled cancer deaths surpass heart disease and you are right, there are lots of links for this information.  If they haven't already decided, they are predicting.
Thanks again for pointing this out Lucky,
