I just wanted to say that after 8 rounds of chemo, surgery, and radiation I am running my 1st 5 K ( the Komen run in OKC this week end). The reason I'm posting this is I wanted to let "all" of you know that you have been, and continue to be my inspriation. I don't post much, but check in and read latest information on TNBC often. You are one tough bunch of ladies/and gentleman. I do want to mention my biggest inspriation though Pam T, she is who I named my team ( team of two her and I ) after. I'm sure you all know her as a senior member on this forum. For the last three years or more she has listened to me cry, laugh, whine, complain, sing, and just be me. She never made me feel like I was wrong for any of my feelings, but was always around to encourage me when I was down ( which still happens). I have never had the pleasure of meeting Pam but I will for the 1st time the night before the race, and I'm so happy to finally meet my dear friend. I hope she dosen't mind me saying this on the forum, and I hope I don't embarasse

her to much at the race ( worked up to a 10 minute mile so not to shabby). Again I just wanted to say that we are a tough bunch, and I'm proud to be included in such a group. This is a wonderful forum and I hope this post brings a little smile to some of you. Think about it I'm ready for Senior discounts, have skinny little legs, have gray hair, almost 60 and -running a 5 k :)
