I'm not good at this computer stuff so I hope this is working. I just joined today. My Triple Negative Breast Cancer came back with a vengence this July. I had made 6 years!! The first time they didn't even call it that; just Hormone negative. Even though I watched like a hawk it snuck in there. I'm stage 4 this time around. I'm still dealing with the news (not so well I might add). Had my surgery. I'm 46, mother of 4, grandmother of a 1 year old angle Smile. I'm having a garage sale this weekend and a Auction in 4 weeks at the Coos Bay auction house. I have put in my ad that 10% of all money raised for me was going to TNBC research. I have now found the place I'm sending it. Please let me know how to do this, where to send and such. I'll log in here and see if I can figure this out as well as check my email. It's good not too feel alone. Hand in there everyone. And thanks for this wonderful site. Debbie

Hi Debbie,

We are "Special People" with a disease that everyone knows about (ha, ha, except triple negative).

I am so sorry the cancer has returned. I would be interested in knowing your original diagnosis stats, and treatment regimen. ie, stage, grade, any surgery, name of drugs, etc. I am 3 years out from diagnosis and wonder if I am being monitored closely enough.

What kind of surgery did you have recently?

Good luck with your sale and make lots of money for the TNBC group.

Keep yourself focused on that "angel granddaughter". I have two of them, so I know what you are talking about. God Bless and know that we care about you. Please keep us informed.

Love in Christ

Lillie

Hello Debbi and welcome.Smile

We are so glad you found us but dear I can't imagine the things that must be going thru your mind now that is has come, after all that time!
Well in the last couple of years there has been so many trials and studies for us, the meds are improving, the meds you use along with your chemo are better.

If you look to the right top of the page there is a link called "Get Involved".  Click on that then click on "donations" and you should be fine.  We all can't thank you enough for your willingness to donate.
We wish you much success with your sales.

The Foundation put this website up just a few years ago and unfortunately we have grown but because we have use of a forum we are finally able to come together.

You are welcome to post anywhere.  Probably the bulk of posts are in the Talk section but we also have Recurrence/Metastasis section if you would feel comfortable there also.

How did your cancer come back, was it caught on a scan?

Best wishes and look forward to hearing from you again.
