Hello everybody,

I knew this forum accidentally when I search something in google. I like the slogan "boredom is not an option". I am excited to see what happen here. Hope to find fun and learn something here.

Fun, hmmm....   I wouldn't say that's our focus, though it's true that cancer is not boring.  Boring is something we hope for.  I think you wandered in the wrong neighborhood.

I am also new to the board (today).  18 days after having a clear mamogram, I discovered a huge lump in my breast.  Before it was removed, I was told it was 3CM and I also had an aspiration of my nodes and told they were clear.  By the time I had my surgery, my lump was 4Cm, grade III, 2 cancerous nodes and triple negative.  I really hadn't been told how bad it is to be triple negative until I switched oncologists with only 6 chemo treatments left.  Tuesday is my last chemo treatment and then I will start radiation.  By the way, I did have a mastectomy and my previous oncologist and surgeon didnt agree on radiation.  Thank goodness I switched doctors, obviously it didnt take a rocket scientist to figure that one.  I am also very lucky that I don't have the gene mutation; which my surgeon said I didnt need to have the genetic testing.  Go figure, I am Jewish, my ancestors from eastern Europe.  I must admit that I never got scared until the last few days when I started doing research on being triple negative.  I have always been extremely positive, but I am having difficulties today feeling positive.
