Hi All,

I just had my second Tx and it was worse than the first other than having to go in the hospitla the first time from bone pain and low counts.   this time i was so weak the entire two weeks after Tx. This week I'm feeling great and now Friday I have to go have another treatment. Have you all had better outcomes as you go along or do they get worse. Thank and prayers are with you all.

Hi Pooky, I so understand, we all understand.

As treatments go along it can get rougher for some, not everyone.

Four yrs ago I had treatments every 3 weeks and the third week I was in pretty good shape and like you having to go back in on Friday for another dose.

This year on Taxotere every 3 weeks I didn't get any break really.  I'm older too, that may have been part of it and other medical issues came along.

I sure hope things settle down for you, let us know,

Hi Pam,

I'm no spring chicken...56 and had polio. But I'm trying not to get myself convinced that it will be worse but just in case I've been trying to get my house in order before Friday. Are you done with treatment now? If so, how are you doing now?

Afternoon Pooky, how are you doing?

No, no, it may not get worse for you at all!
I think that's a good idea though to get any housework you might want done or anything else that is important to you that needs your attention before a treatment.  Even if you are having a pretty decent reaction you still need to rest and not worry about the dust or bills.Smile

Yes I just got done in mid September and I'm doing pretty good.  My legs are still weak but hoping that goes away soon.  Waiting on that hair to come back!

Hugs,

Hi Im new to the site so bear with me!! I think you are talking about ac, my first tx i had incredible bone pain and my white count dropped to 2. The bone pain was never that bad again, the second and third were ok, the fourth i was exhausted. ac was rigorous for me. the worst was over when that was done, i tolerated the taxol much better, i was tired but did not feel as sick. i did take percocet for the bone pain which helped but can really cause alot of constopation issues. Be strong, 1 down 3 to go im thinking of ya
