Hi All,
Three weeks ago I started a clinical trial for TNBC. It is a bis-phosphonate study. I am taking 50mg/daily of Boniva. The purpose of the study is to see whether this dose of med decreases the chances of the cancer returning and/or if the cancer is to return, this medication is suppose to prevent bone mets. I am not sure if anyone else is in a study like this. So far, I have not had any adverse side effects, I was wondering if anyone else has joined a clinical study like this one. Prior to starting the study, I have 20 weeks of chemo and last month had a bilateral mastecomy. I am 41 years old.
