Has anyone done treatment with Navelbine? I just had PET scan and it showed that I had new tumors in both lungs and the ones they were treating with Gemzar had indeed grown--the Oncologist said she would meet with us to discuss next steps that Navelbine was perhaps something I should consider--I also was curious about Avastin
Have had chemo for 11/2 years now and radiation
every time this sucker pops up somewhere else

I have not tried Navelbine but also have Lung Mets.  I have tried Avastin & Abraxene which initially showed reduction in the size of the nodules but then increased after 2nd PET scan.   I went on Avastin & Xeloda and had the same experience.  The explanation I get is that it is almost like antibiotics,  the cancer cells find a way to outsmart the chemo and grow again.   I am on a new clinical trial and hoping that the results will be more effective or at least longer lasting.   Best of luck - maybe Navelbine will be the charm.

1cococo,

I am so sorry you are having more problems and I do not have any experience with Navelbine.

You might try posting a new topic in the Recurrence/metastasis forum and more women who have used these medicines might see your questions.

All my best wishes that you soon find something that works for you.
