Good morning Ladies
Here i am 1 week post end of chemo and last night felt VERY strange!!!  Was fine all day, finally got my appetite back, starting to feel feel like old self and out of nowhere, i had severe pain in both my legs (femur area) and got very queasy, fell asleep very early, then to wake up in middle of night feeling just very nauseated was up most of night!!
Can the leg pain STILL be from the crazy neulasta shot a week later????  And i guess you can still get nausea even wks after chemo??  I got the nausea quite frequently after #3 also.... anyone else??
But this morning my legs are better still a little nauseous, the only other thing i can think of is im on my feet all day at my job, nurse in very busy surgical center and the last 2 days really didnt sit at all!!!
So im just wondering if anyone else has experienced this??AngryOuch
Hope to chat soon
Love to all
Gina

Hey there Gina,

Lori and I talked last night for several hours. She had her last chemo, day sfter Thanksgiving last year and finished rads in January. A week ago, she was still having joint pain, arthritis in her hands and feet....and all of a sudden, this week she noticed that she is not "grunting" any more when she gets up from a chair. Last week she could not even open a jar due to the pain in her hands...this week...no pain. Just a tiny amount in her finger tips.

That Neulasta hangs around for a while, but just be grateful that it does. Those WBC's are fighting the cancer sweetie...keeping you healthy. The chemo hangs around much longer. The Neulasta causes the bone marrow to stress.

Hugs,
Nancy

Gina,
It sounds like you might have over done it.  Of course as you know, if this lasts for two weeks call your doctor, or if it concerns you, call your doctor.Heart

Hope you get some rest!
