Hello everyone mom is doing great, its been 2 months since her last chemo treatment and she's just weeks away from her radiation treatment.

I come with a question from her, she would like to ask some of the forum members:

Since there are no pills to take after chemo and radiation, she would like to know has anyone been recommended to take anything or has anyone doctors recommend going into any trial studies….

I hope everyone is doing well and I'm pretty sure everyone is getting ready for the holidays Big%20smile!

Hope to hear something soon, take care

That is great news!

No there is no medication for triple neg's after treatment.  Usually we have check-up's with our Onc around the 3 month area for awhile and then they change to 6 months.  Some Oncologisits do some bloodwork tests prior to your visit but that is about it.

It will depend upon her Oncologist.  Another thing that they might possibly do is a scan of some sort but alot of Onc's don't do that unless there are suspicions of a problem.

I stand to be corrected but most of the trials that I have seen are usually after you've been diagnosed but she might ask her Onc if there is anything she might be able to participate in, that's a great idea.

I'm so glad your mother is doing well.  Give her a hug for us and thanks for letting us know.  I'm sure others will post soon.

One thing I might add, tell her to be vigilant and listen to her body.  If there is anything that is going on that she is concerned about have her
call her Onc's office.  They usually go by the 2 week rule,  if the symptom or problems persists for two weeks then call.

Best wishes,
