Well ladies

Because of you ladies and this site, I went to my first oncologist appt on my birthday and having read a lot of information on this site had me thoroughly prepared.  I was able to ask the right questions and was very please with his knowledge and care planned for me.  He gave me many options and explained the risks for each and I of course choose the chemo route to better my changes.  I started dose dense regime of AC which I will do 4 treatments every 2 weeks then Taxol for 4 weeks every 2 weeks for 4 weeks.  I had no nausea or tiredness so far.  I ordered my Tyra Banks/Beyonce like wig ( http://www.mslola.com - www.mslola.com ) which the full lace wig and it came just now.  I also ordered eyebrows ( http://www.nu-brows.com - www.nu-brows.com ) .  So ladies, the journey begins.  I will keep you updated!  Thanks again for all of the support!!

Vjennings,  that is so good to hear that your first appointment turned out well.  I'm so glad we could help.  Don't forget to check in and let us know how you are doing.

Also I would like to thank you for the links, I'll add them in the Resource forum.  Your wig sounds really pretty.  That was a good idea on the eyebrows, I tell ya if they go you get to looking a little strange or I do atleast so have tried drawing them on which also looks ridiculous!Embarrassed I have also heard you can get stencils.
If we can do some little things to continue to make us feel better in our appearance, that makes a difference.

It sounds like you are all ready for your treatments and I'm so glad your first treatment went smoothly for you.

It is nice to have a plan, glad you have your mapped out for a while.  Cool wig and brows I know a lot of woman like to have one during treatment.  I was a baldy myself be what ever makes you feel comfortable is what matters most.  It is exciting to get one, you might have to take it to the hair dresser ad have it trimmed.  Big hugs
Shelby
