Hello,   Brand new here, Jan. 2025

Looking to communicate with someone who has been on, or is on the KEYNOTE 522 Regimen for TNBC.

Recently diagnosed, and have not started any treatment, but apparently this KEYNOTE is the new standard of care for TNBC.

Please please respond if you are in this.   I am very scared.,

thanks

Hi Lobster,

I had to look up what Keynote 522 was, but yes I’ve had it. July - December 2024.

I had 12 weeks of Pembro + taxol and carbo (every week) and then 12 weeks of Pembro + AC (dox + cyto) - every 3 weeks.

I wouldn’t say it’s a laugh, but I also managed fine. I worked throughout (from home, but I always work from home) and got out walking most days and seeing friends a bit. Although they mostly came to me!

If I can help with anything, just let me know.

I was on this course. For me, the taxol was perfectly fine. The ac was a bit harder. The week I got first ac was rough. I recieved meds on Tuesday. And by the following Sunday I was admitted to the hospital for chemo induced sepsis. My numbers dropped to a mere 50 white blood cells. But 5 days, some antibiotics and shots to boost cell production, i was good to go. I wish you all the best. If you have any specific questions, I'd love to answer them for you.

Hi, I just finished this regimen a few weeks ago. I was also able to work from home through it all. I will say the first AC was the toughest. I already had a sinus infection, so I ended up in the hospital with neutropenic fever. Please be sure to communicate with your nurses and doctors any time you feel sick or anything not right.
I’m praying your treatment goes well! Please let us know if you have any questions. I’m happy to connect and help through anything. Good luck!
