Dear TNBC family,
This large study (19,000 plus women) was brought to my attention this evening. The study seems to indicate that OS Overall survival was better in the women who were treated with adjuvant chemo (post surgery) rather than with neo adjuvant treatment (prior to surgery). It is also clear that women who had a PCR (Pathologic Complete Response) had better overall survival. The main problem it seems that women with neo adjuvant treatment had a disappointing PCR. The study also brings up the need for more research on the biology of TNBC.
with my love to all here,
Steve
