hey there I just recently started dual dose carbo taxol but after one infusion my wbc dropped immensely and havenít picked back up. My oncologist decided to reduce my dosage but I asked her to put me on to weekly taxol instead but she still reduced my carbo dosage by 15% which is worrying me. I also had an ac reduction after the 2nd as my wbc got to 0.7. I seem to be very sensitive I donít know wether itís due to being brca1 positive but Iím worried as I have no tumour to judge efficacy as I was operated first. CryCryCry has anyone elseís dosage been modified? X

Hi Dee,

It's quite common to have a dose reduction.  It's better to keep you on schedule vs a long delay and reduces the chance of severe toxicity.
