I am Stage 1, no nodes, clear margins with lumpectomy, BRCA negative - 42 years old

From what I read the chances for reoccurrence does no matter if you are stage 1 or stage 4 -- is it true that stage doesn't really matter when it comes to TNBC?

I have 2 more chemo treatments then radiation. I am terrified of reoccurrence.

Hi Victoria,
I'm also stage 1, no nodes, clear margins w/ lumpectomcy, BRAC negative. I just finished radiation 2 weeks ago.  I was told by my MO after I competed AC & taxol that "it was highly unlikely" I would have a reoccurrence and my port was removed. The stats she gave me, is only a 10% chance (which is damn good). I have another appt with the MO on Tuesday.
My advice to you is to focus on this fight and endure the treatments, maintain a positive outlook and don't worry about reoccurrence.
We are all in the same boat, so you are not alone in this battle.  You have made it through the hardest part - the red devil.  Radiation will be a breeze!
Hang in there!
Hugs!
MiniG
