Hi,
did anyone develop a rash while on Carbo/ gemzar combo?
I only started last Monday and within 2 days developed a rash on my upper legs, and body. Any advice? Tavegyl didnt work. I am worried that i wont be able to continue this chemo tommorow, due to this rash.

Hi Kelly,
I didn't have a rash while on Carbo/Gemzar, but did develop a rash after my 3rd cycle with Taxotere. My onc prescribed a prednisone pack and it helped with the rash and the itching side effects. We thought the same thing would happen with the 4th cycle, but it didn't. Does the rash itch? What does your onc say? Maybe they can give you more steroids in the pretreatment to prevent the rash? Wishing you the best.
