Hi,

I am new from Oregon.  This is my story in 1999 I had a lumpectomy in barely stage 2.  Then the next time was 2010 where it has spread to my right side of my lymph nodes on my neck and throat.  Then in 2014 it spread to my lymph nodes so since I had chemo twice we went for the clinical trial.  I have now been on it just about 10 weeks.  Is there anyone out there that has had tnbc that many times?

Hi Malik -

Sorry to here this is back again for the 3rd time!! I have a few questions - in 2010, how did you discover it had returned - did you have symptoms or just swollen nodes? After 10+ years was this deemed a recurrence or new primary? In 2014 what lymph nodes were affected? I know there are several posters who have had many recurrences here on the forum. I'm sure you will get feedback from them soon.

I hope your next round of treatment gets you back to NED status sooner than later.

Best Wishes to you,
Lisa

Hi Triple Positive Girl,

Thanks for asking.  I have a very strong faith cause the last two times I have been in Stage 4.  So in 2010 it was called recurrence.  Also in 2010 my oncologist found it in my neck and throat area.  In 2014 they found out through a pet scan where is spread.  It is abdomen area, aorta area and left axillary.  I have been very successful in my clinical trial with some of it shrinking.  It isn't big at all so God can take this all away.
