With node positive (1 positive) tnbc, should I be getting more than just whole breast radiation? I'm also in prone position, does this not get the coverage I need?  I am very confused now reading some information. I didn't even realize that there was more than whole breast radiation. I thought that was covering my lymph nodes. Any information would be helpful. I did have lumpectomy.   Thank you.

Hi Sassygirl,

Here are a couple of links that may be informative.  I did not have prone radiation, but others may have and will comment about their experience.  I had IMRT radiation to the breast area and all regional nodes (RNI) with my recurrence.

One of my friend had breast cancer and she was treated with surgery and chemotherapy instead of radiation therapy. She was adviced to have chemo sessions after surgery. It was all about her treatment.
