Hi, everyone, just wanted to tell you today I finished all my radiation treatments (28) after 3 1/2 months of chemo (DD AC and DD Taxol) after lumpectomy this past April. All done.... Don't know how I am feeling yet--relieved, scared, but just wanted to share. Thanks for always being there.

Have a follow up appointment with Radiologist in early January and I have to call my Oncologist in the next week or two to set up an appointment to see her. The Oncologist said she will see me every 2 months but I don't know if she will do a mammo, scan or what. Will have to find out and set a plan. It has been a long haul--chemo since June 3, so I am glad to be done for a few months.   This Monday is my regular check up followed by Ob/Gyn--I would like to get the doctors out of the way before the holidays. Oh, and I saw my breast surgeon today because I had a breast reduction and I have some fat necrosis in my non-affected breast... For tonight and a few weeks, I will try to breathe, go to my exercise class, go to my Yoga class and group therapy and try to get some balance in my life. Good luck to you.

Sounds very similar to what I've been told will be my schedule.  My oncologist doesn't do regular scans - not sure I'm happy about that. 3D mammo and/or mri every 6 months. Best of luck to you too.
