Tomorrow is my third chemo. I started on June 7 of this year. I am scheduled to have my MRI on August 12 to check for any remaining cancer in the body. That would mean my chemo would be over by then. By my calculations my treatment every two weeks would have me in Sept/Oct. I don't understand how they can get me on a completely different date to have my MRI. Could they be planning on doing Taxol every week? I'm going to ask them at my appointment tomorrow to Ask.But I just wanted to get any advice.

I don't understand. I am getting AC for three weeks as of tomorrow. I thought the last four would be Taxol. I think my Dr. just screwed up again in scheduling me or is looking at a different persons chart. I keep telling myself I should just switch breast surgeons. Maybe  I will just finally do it.

my dr screwed it up. Its always nice to have a doc that doesn't even know your own chemo schedule.

She was wrong 4 months would be Oct 7. Then MRI and follow up. 3rd chemo down. I had to take 1  and 1/2 pain pills for some reason my muscles were hurting as soon as I got home

I am..I already switched. I cant 'take dealing with the chemo right now and the insurance is not charging me for co pays which I should be getting charged for just blood draw and injections. Thats another story.

I had my third chemo on Friday. Now a new symptom I am having is my eyes are starting to run for no reason like I  am crying and it leaks down through my nose . Is that normal?

The next dose is my last dose of AC. Someone please tell me Taxol is easier..I am going to bed now..my bones start hurting 1 1/2 after my neulasta shot.Going to take a pain pill until this passes in the next few days as I need it. Sometimes I still just sit here and cry because I feel like I no control over anything anymore.

Tracy,

Yes the runny eyes are a normal side effect.  Have you tried taking Claritin the day of the Neulasta shot (some even take it the day before) and then 2 days after the shot?  It helps with the bone pain.

So sorry you are going through so much with your chemo, oncologis and problems.

Donna
