I was diagnosed with TNBC this past friday. I actually thought because my doctor said I was triple negative it was a good thing. I walked out of his office thinking well its not in the lymph nodes and it progesterone and estrogen negative, so that is good. I came home and looked it up on the internet and found out I was totally wrong. I found this site and I've been on here everyday since. I've met a lot of nice and caring people that understand what I'm going through because they are there or have been there.
I'm asking anyone reading for any advice they can give me before going to my first oncologist appt. on Tuesday the 26th.
If you can think of questions I need and should ask about treatment or any thing else about this, please reply and let me know so I can write them down and take them with me.
I'm pretty much clueless about this and really scared, so I don't want to go into the office and go blank..
Also..... I don't know how many of you are Religious, but those of you that are, please put me in your prayers. I would really appreciate it.

I had a stereotactic Feb 15th and my results said DCIS 0, I then had a lumpectomy on the 25th to remove it and the results came back with clear margins and the doctor said I would only need some radiation. He did however say it was the aggressive type and could come back, so I told him to do a mastectomy. So on the 11th of March I had that done, after the surgery he told my daughter that everything went good and that I wouldn't need any kind of treatment.
Well I went back yesterday for my results from the mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy and he said it was Triple Negative. He said he was referring me over to the Oncologist that she may want to do some kind of treatment. Right now that is all I know.
After coming home and doing research, it seems obvious that I will need Chemo, if nothing else just to be on the safe side. So I'm trying to gather as much info as I can.
How are you doing now?
And thanks so much for your input.
