I think one of the best resources for understanding the biology of TNBC is the work of Charles Perou of UNC, Chapel Hill.

Chuck is the guy in the black shirt/jeans sitting four over from the left, as you look at the picture. He is a brilliant researcher and a lovely, caring man.

I would suggest studying his research. I saw a presentation of his a few years ago and he mentioned that the heterogeneity of the various subtypes of TNBC makes it a particularly challenging disease to treat. But the work continues, globally, and I am hopefully that in years to come we will have better understanding of the subtypes and therefore better treatment and hopefully some day, a cure. 

Mark, also if you have the ability to attend the various conferences around the country that would be helpful. One of the most important conferences is in San Antonio every year and Denise Wolf, who is doing important research on breast cancer at UCSF and I will be attending as will others here I hope. Denise has a PhD and would be another good resource for you. If you are able to come please text me or send me an email. I will send you my contact info and Denise and I would love to see you. She posts as dmwolf and is a TNBC survivor and very passionate about our community. I am honored that we are friends.
