Has anyone here participated in a clinical trial with a parp inhibitor? I am Stage 3A and have had one chemo. Can you start a Parp inhibitor after you have started chemo?

Hello lili03,
I am sorry I cannot answer your question about parp inhibitor, but there are others here who can. I want to welcome you to the TNBC site. I am sorry you are having to seek information about cancer. What chemo regimen are you on? Have you had any surgery yet? Keep posting and let us know how you are. WE UNDERSTAND...

God Bless,
Lillie

lili03,

I participated in a trial for a parp inhibitor. Many times with clinical trials they have criteria to participate.  There is usually a waiting period if you've been on a previous chemo regimen.  Are you BRCA positive?

Here's a link to clinical studies involving parp inhibitors.
