How sad and shocking...she was such a good person.  She was so helpful with her posts and words of encouragement.  This is a huge loss.  She will be so missed.

Dear Carol,

thank you for posting..

To all-

I am crying as I type...I think the last ten days at MD Anderson have left me particularly fragile.

This is another of those crazy things where you may never meet a person but feel her goodness through her words. Lee was such a lovely person and a source of support for so many here even as she fought the fight.

Lee, you shall me missed and my condolences go out to you and your family.

We are living through what for many here can only be considered the Dark Ages. The research, I believe is truly ongoing, but the progress seems so painfully slow. Some day.....all we can do is pray that some day it will be better...for now, rest in peace sweet Lee and thank you for gracing our lives..

with great sadness in my heart,

Steve

Lee in Denver,

You will be so missed.  I've been in tears all day upon hearing the news and reading your obituary.  The beautiful picture posted of you is exactly how I always pictured you, with a big, loving heart for everyone.  After reading the comments posted in the funeral home's guestbook, I saw all the lives you touched, especially your work with rescue dogs.

Lee, I can never express in words the impact you have had on my life this past 2 years. Your strengh of mind to push yourself to live life no matter what the Beast threw at you will stay with me forever. You make us all want to make the most of whatever life God deems fit to bestow upon us. You fought the good fight with humour, grace and stength that has enamoured you to us all. You will be greatly missed.
My life is more enriched for having known you.
My love to your family and friends .....Luv Kat xxx
