22 more to go!  Unfortunately, I have a fair complexion to begin with.  The side of my breast is the sorest and the nipple area is pretty sensitive, but I'm applying emu oil on every day!  Dr. told me yesterday that its only going to get worse before it gets better.  I wanted to reply, "No sh*t Sherlock!"  Like I couldn't figure that one out on my own!   LOL Clap

Yeah -- my sense of humor has brought me through A LOT!  I count that as one of my blessings -- that I can make fun of even the worst situations!  I guess I've always looked at it kinda like this -- if I can't laugh I might as well not be living.

Yesterday on the way home from work, I had a bad headache, and I was really tired, and God gave me two beautiful rainbows in the sky to look at and admire!  Now that's living!

Today I went to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.  It was very emotional, but we had a great time.  All the survivors and caregivers walked the first lap around the track to start the relay and then the ACS put on a nice luncheon for the survivors and caregivers.  Then there was a victory wall for all the survivors and caregivers to put their hand prints on and to write a message.  It was a special day.

Saw the dr. yesterday.  She said my skin is doing really well through the radiation.  I have been using emu oil after every treatment.  I have redness and some sensitive areas, but other than that things are going well, but I sure can't wait until June is over!
