Just wanted to share that after 4 treatments of A/C my tumor (4.3cm) is now undetectable by palpitation exam.  YAY!   I still have four rounds of Taxol to do but I am really hoping to be on my way to a PCR.  I have surgery tentatively scheduled for May 10th so we will know more after we get the pathology back at that time.

Thank you all for being here, I had a really horrible week last week from side effects and DH losing his job but this is good news that I wanted to share!

Glad the chemo is working for you, Sweetpickle!  Stay strong - the taxol shouldn't be as rough on you as the AC, so it should get easier from here.  Hang in there - you can do it!

Congratulations! I know exactly how you are feeling!  Thrilled but cautiously optimistic!  I recently had similar results..........3.5 cm lump in breast and lump in lymph node - After A/C for 4 treatments and 12 treatments of taxol..........lumps were totally gone!!  I had my MRI 1/3/13 to confirm.  My surgery was 2/13/13 and the pathology report came back - no cancer!! You go GIRL!

Dear MLindaG,

So nice to hear from you again.  The 'no cancer' after chemo and surgery are wonderful words.  I had the same chemo back in 2006, administered in a different order than yours, but it worked.  "Thrilled but cautiously optimistic" is a statement that many of us can identify with.  It just seems to be the {after cancer mindset} we live with for a long time.

Again, welcome and please post often with your encouraging words.

God Bless,
Lillie
