Just reading through all these bittersweet posts to Denise at the loss of her friend, Rebecca, makes me realize just how supportive and loving we truly are to and with each other. While our family and friends are "right there" in the physical sense, for us to lean on and to support us - it is just so bolstering to feel the love, warmth and understanding we are all able to extend to each other whenever it is needed.
I find it totally amazing, and a true gift from above that, while never having been face to face (for most of us) with each other, we can share and feel for each other just as if we all grew up together and have known each other for most of our lives. Mind boggling what suffering can bring together, isn't it. I know for sure that this is the highest form of "good" that can happen to us once we are diagnosed and walk down this frightening road called breast cancer. I am so thankful to each of you and feel honored to share this walk with each of you.
Love,
Linda

Linda,
I couldn't have said it better myself. You really get to know people on this wonderful site by what they write. When someone goes through trials you just feel so terrible. When people have good things happen you just feel so happy. Everyone becomes very invested in everyone. It is just a wonderful website.

Hi Denise,
Just saw the post a about your friend Rebecca, she sounds like a girl after my own heart. A crack up to the end. I could actually visualise her lunging for the the morphine bottle!
She was extremely lucky to have a friend as wonderful as you. I know that we all feel that way in here. You are an amazing person, so it does not surprise me that you have amazing friends.
I will not say I am sorry for your loss as I know she is still very much present in your heart.
Thinking of you luv Kat xxx

Denise:
I too send my condolences to you for the loss of Rebecca. It is never easy to loose someone who has impacted our lives in such special ways. I too can picture her lunging for the morphine! Too funny but of course that is why we are so special! We have the rounded personalities to suffer in humour and leave this world in peace. Thanks be to God!
Today is one year since Elaine passed and her presence is still with me and I am glad that I can have her funny, bizarre comments come to me when I need to hear them most.
Bless you in this time of reflection.
Love Helen xo
