I finished chemo yesterday!!  Yippee!!  All in all it wasn't so bad.  One more surgery for permanent implants, then 3-D nipple tattooing.  I'm almost there!  Woot, woot!

Congratulations.  I finished my chemo on 6/25/13 and had my final reconstruction on 7/24/13.  The 3D nipple is next! Best Wishes.

The first couple is weeks I still felt slow and lazy, but each day it gets better.

Hello,
I only had mastectomy on the right side. Also, I was able to get my permanent implant during first surgery and then last month my surgeon reduced the left and did revision on the right. I have heard over and over again how ppl feel so much better with the implant!! Glad I missed the expander part of this journey. The implant gets tight sometimes at the end of long day. Nerves and stuff coming alive my dr. Tells me.
