I sometimes struggle knowing what all the abbreviations mean, so thought maybe we could share those we know here.  Here are just a few that I think I know.  Can others add to this list?  For instance, I dont' know what NED is.   There must be a lot more I don't know.

Dx   Diagnosis
IDC   Invasive Ductal Carcinoma
DCIS   Ductal Carcinoma In Situ
AC   Adriamycin/Cytoxin chemotherapy
SNB   Sentinal Node Biopsy
3-   Triple Negative breast cancer
BC   Breast Cancer
Met     Metastisis
Gr   Grade of cancer
St   Stage of cancer
Onc   Oncologist

NED stands for "No Evidence of Disease"  It's the term that oncs now use instead of "remission"
Dx 05/06 Stage IIIC
Local Recurrence 01/07
Mets in opposite side axilla nodes 12/07
Mets to mediastinal nodes confirmed 11/08
NED March 2009-March 2010
Brain met March 2010.

The only abbreviation I've seen for triple negative BC was TNBC. We need to add that to our list.
IBC/TN 6/07 Lymph, Chemo, Mast w/rec, chemo, 2 infect surg, exchg (2x) redo rec (2x) 4 new tumors esophagus, colon, chest, mouth, (10/11- 5th SUV7)"Activity" in spine hip
