Just a quick update!  I completed radiation at MD Anderson on July 19th (happy birthday to me!)  I just had my last expansion 2 days ago. My next step will be implant exchange in June. I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  After going through chemo, a bilat mastectomy and reconstruction I truly feel like a survivor! My body is beat up, my brain is foggy but thank the Lord I'm here!  I try not to think of recurrence but it's a reality with some of us with TNBC. I'm determined to stay positive and keep looking ahead. Wow..my journey started almost a year ago...and what a year it has been! Clap
Dx: 10/9/12 @ age 44 IDC TNBC Grade 3, Stage 2. 4.4 cm tumor BRCA neg
11/2012 Dose Dense AC/Taxol pCR!!!
3/22/13 Bilat Mast w/tissue exp.
7/19/13 Completed Rads @ MDAnderson.

TNBC stage1 size 1.8, grade3 no nodes 4/11 Lumpectomy 5/11 4cycles DD A/C 4cycles DD Taxol. Double Mastectomy 12/11 BRCA all neg
