I finished chemotherapy December 2, 2013 so one year and 2 months ago.  Can neuropathy show up this late?  I have been having some tingling in my fingers lately and wondering if that is what it is or if its something else.

Do you ever feel like you're paranoid?  Every time something is going on with my body I am instantly worried.  Not so much with this, but other things.  My hip was hurting for a couple days and I was constantly wondering if it was the cancer back, it finally quit hurting so not worried any longer.  But I feel like sometimes I wish I could have something hurt on me without instantly wondering.

Rhi, I'm with you on the worrying and I'm not usually someone who does much worrying!! I think it is our new normal!! When I had my original pet scan on diagnosis the person doing the scan came over to me and said....so tell me about your knees.......I said......yes I have arthritis in both my knees......then he said....so what about your back...looks like you have some mild arthritis there as well.......to tell you the truth I had very few back aches so I was kind of surprised by what he had to say......but I did have some occasionally. So flash forward to December 2014 - 2 1/2 years later......I wake up everyday with a backache.....it takes me about 2 hrs. to be able to walk normally......is it just the arthritis rearing its ugly head, do I need a new mattress? (ours is about 15 years old) or was there something going on back then that has gotten worse?? I think it's hard when you are right in the sweet spot. My onc. told me if it's going to come back it usually will do it around 2-3 years. I guess time will tell.

I can't answer your question on the neuropathy. I got a bit of it in my feet and hands. Mostly what I noticed right from the beginning....I can't open jars like I used to!! Hopefully someone will come along to answer your question.
