Finished Taxol two weeks ago, now have bad rash on

Hi hopeful. YES! I had a terrible Taxol rash. I had it on my hands however. Particularly on my right hand-from my knuckles to my wrist. Very red and bumpy and very itchy. It was almost like a thickening of the skin. My fingernails did not fall off, but they got very brown and soft. I had 12 rounds of taxol, finishing on June 21st. The rash was pretty much gone by mid-August. Now my nails are completely clear and the rash long-gone. My oncologist prescribed a cortison cream. I had to use tons of it, but it really helped with itching and the redness to some extent. I had major difficulty with my chemo, and now am finsihing up radiation and doing much better. So remember, this will ALL pass.
