Steve - gald to hear that Melissa is okay. I'm not sure of any details about the Peace Lily, but I do grow plants well, and one peice of advice is to use water that has sat in room temperature for a day so that the chemicals in the water evaporate out. I have a bamboo that is now about 9 feet tall and it lives in water (no dirt), and I have a bottle of water I fill the day before I feed it. I got the bamboo 6 years ago and it was about 6 inches tall!!! The chlorine in the water turn the tips of the leaves brown. Plus some plants are sensitve to temperature changes so the water is always the right temp! Also remove any dead/dying leaves, they drain the plant where instead of growing it uses its resources to repair the dying leaves. I have a lot of plants in my office at work :)

Steve, I have a peace lily from 3 or 4 years ago. I water it every week or so. The leaves droop to let you know it is thirsty. I put it outside in the warm weather and water it every few days. It has actually bloomed for me a couple of times. My thumb is definitely not green! Good Luck and I'm glad Melissa is better.
