I am deeply saddened to see this news. I
saw her about a month ago and spoke to her afterwards and sent her some
pictures of my grandson.
After reading this thread last night I actually called her. I have never seen her FB page. Thank you Donna for posting.
May she rest in peace.
my sincere condolences to her family,
Steve

Thank you for all you did for us, Caryn. Prayers of comfort for you,
Zack, and all of Caryn's friends and family. I hate that this dreadful
disease has taken another one of the wonderful souls who so generously
shared their love and wisdom here. How much must we sacrifice until a
cure is found? May you rest in eternal peace, Caryn, and feel the love
we all have for you.
This breaks my heart. There are just no words, she fought so hard,
for so long. God bless her son and all her loved ones. Such a tragic
loss.

Rest in peace dear Caryn. I will be praying for Zach her wonderful
son. I will be praying for her friend for caring for Zach. I will miss
her just so sad.
I'm just so sad to read this. After seeing the other posts about
dear ones departing this life, I couldn't continue with catching up on
the Forum yesterday. And now, today, there's this...
Thank you, dear Donna, for posting this update.
May Zach find Comfort and Peace, knowing that Caryn is now truly out of pain and suffering. She fought hard,
Peace and Blessings to all,
Deborah.

I have always heard (though it may be an old wive's tale) that deaths
of those we know come in "threes." Unfortunately, it seems to be true
in the case of our TN friends over the course of the last couple of
weeks. Prayers for Caryn's son Zach and all the families.
My heart is so heavy upon hearing this news. So many times I question
why this horrible disease continues to take so many of our young women
yet lets older gals like myself survive it. But then I remind myself
that God is the only one who has the answers. May Caryn's family be
comforted during this time by the love of God.

Dear BamaRachel,
My husband believes if (something happens twice, it will happen a
third time). I think it is a superstition. Anyway, we have actually
heard of 4 deaths of TN sisters in the past 2 weeks. Kim (Pink
Panther), Jackie (Jloon), Barbara (Barbi), and Caryn (Zacar). So Sad
and let us keep all their families in our prayers.
Dear twin-sister Genie, I have been dwelling on the subject also of
why so many of our young, beautiful, vibrant wives and mothers are lost
to this disease. It breaks my heart. I fall into the older catagory,
like you, and wonder why them?
From Caryn's posts on the TNBC forum, we got to know her strength, fighting spirit as well as
her caring and sharing with all the TNBC members, families and friends.
Caryn, know your goodness and strength will live on in those you loved and cared for.
May Caryn's strength and love continue to encircle her own family and friends ( and her TNBC
family and friends ) now and always.
I am so sorry to hear about the death of such a beautiful caring girl. I have not been on for a while and was not aware of her passing till today. She fought so long and so hard not only for herself, but especially for her son Zach. She was an amazing friend to us all and she will be sadly missed. Her strength to keep fighting was an inspiration to me. It was an honour to have known her. I only wished I had the pleasure to meet her in person. I shall do that on the other side.
