Hello,

I returned from a great vaca in Florida and had my port installed on Friday. Over the weekend I was having trouble breathing. Monday am I called into my onc and she saw me and admitted me to the hosp. After a CT scan they discovered I had a neosomething and needed a chest tube right away. Turns out my doctor nix my lung and this is what happened. I came home on Thursday and I'm doing better. Has this happened to any of you ?
I have stage 4 BC mets to the lungs and I'm triple neg. I'm 42 years old and very healthy otherwise.

Hi,

I never heard of that happening but I guess anything is possible when a surgical procedure is performed.
What is the name of your type of cancer other than it being triple negative  ??    Is it  ductile, lobular, medullary ??
I'm asking everyone because mine is so rare and I'm wondering what the majority of triple negatives have.

I hope you are now feeling better!

Thank you for answering.

Oh Tina Belle, I'm so sorry this happened to you and it's good to hear you are doing better now, how scary!

I've had a port put in twice but haven't had this experience.

It is good to hear you had a good vacation though!
