Thanks so much for the birthday love, everyone. I will definitely eat cake for anyone who would like vicarious chocolate. I purposely ate a light breakfast to accommodate the chocolate burden I am expecting. Today will be pretty much a normal day - work, back to school night for Talia (11) - followed by a special meal out with my family. Saturday night, however, I will be dancing maniacally with friends at a joint birthday party with my friend Karen. A definite two drink minimum (Mojito?). love, Denise

Denise,
Isn't it funny that before cancer we worried about getting older? I often wondered how I'd feel when I turned 50. Well getting breast cancer at 49 sure puts things in perspective. Now I'm happy for every year, wrinkles and all:)
Have fun this weekend and enjoy the chocolate!
