Dear all,

I had a pen-pal/phone relationship with Lori for several years. She was a lovely person and passed away this past Saturday.

I don’t know if, at this point, you can access Lori’s CaringBridge pages but if you can I think you will get a sense of this courageous woman. We almost had a meeting in Chicago at a family BBQ. She had wanted me to speak to them about the BRCA mutation we shared but at the last minute Lori wanted to just be alone with her family. I am truly sorry I never met her.

rest in peace, my friend,

Steve

Steve, I tried to access her site but it was restricted. So sorry to hear of her passing. Still, I remember seeing her post on other sites.  She was warm and thoughtful, right?  She had a devoted following, I think.
Thanks for letting us know, and please take care.  Your avocation brings you close to the shadows so very often.   I know it's hard on you.
love,

Steve, your mailbox is full.  I posted a response to you which has now been gobbled by the ether.
Lori - what a marvelous spirit, with a lion's heart.  I can see why you loved her so much.

May she soar with the angels.  I always read her posts on Inspire.com.  Another sad tragic loss of a young and beautiful woman, taken away from her loved ones and friends much too soon.
