chemo why so much,  so long.  How sick will I be and when? I'm 55 with a 3-3.7 lump they say I caught so early,  hadn't spread anywhere. So why so much chemo4-6 mths???? 
I'm afraid I looking decrepit and  sick , that's my fear for my kids.

Hi Roxanne,

The reason it takes so long with chemo is the chemo and time between infusions.  Some chemo is every 3 weeks and you may need 4 treatments = 12 weeks.  Taxol can be weekly or bi-weekly for 12 weeks.  Hope this helps answer your question.
