Hi BrynnaK,
Welcome to our TNBC forum. Sorry your wife has mTNBC. My experience with helping women who received CMF with mTNBC is very mixed. I think the Korean study
123Donna found is interesting and I also found a recent article that you may find of interest.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6980632/The group of authors are quite diverse-Russia, U.S. and Israel.
This is a study involving one 48 year old woman who had a partial response with Elanagen and CMF. I am not a medical professional and will not give you/your wife medical advice
so I am not saying you should try this combination or not but I found the study interesting.
I am a patient advocate and have helped many on this site over the last 10 years. But again, I am not a medical professional but might be able to refer you to a mTNBC
knowledgeable breast medical oncologist. In these awful Covid days some wonderful oncologists will only see a patient in-person for the first consult and others will do Zoom conferences. Challenging times.
If you would like to discuss with me I would be happy to...You can send me a PM and I will send you my phone number and email contact. If you prefer you can write me at
contact@sagepatientadvocates.info and I can set-up a Zoom conference. There are no charges.
warmly,
Steve
