I had a different regime. I have been and shall be seen every 4 months for 5 years. I see the onco once a year (but he's been known to make extra appointments) the surgeon once a year and the radio man once a year.
The appointments are spaced out so that I see each in turn, which works out to once every 4 months. Also, I have a chest specialist (after I had bronchitis for 9 month after chemo) who has been seeing me every 6 months but once a year from now on.
In between, I see my own generalist whenever I request it or when I need more meds for my asthma or for my blood pressure to be checked.
Like Donna, my tumour was Stage 1 Grade 3.
Certainly 6 months seem a long time, especially for the first, say, 3 years.
