From the size of the tumor, it looks like your friend is most likely stage 2, but that could change if there is spread to lymph nodes or chest wall.  Here is a chart on tumor staging:

This is the NCCN Guidelines for Breast Cancer.  It's a comprehensive guide from diagnosis to treatment:

The most common therapy in the US is dose dense AC followed by T, or T followed by AC.  There are other regimens and even studies about adding Carboplatin to T improves outcome with neoadjuvant treatment.  Here are few couple of links to look at:

DX IDC TNBC 6/09 age 49, Stage 1,Grade 3, 1.5cm,0/5Nodes,KI-67 48%,BRCA-,6/09bi-mx, recon, T/C X4(9/09)
11/10 Recur IM node, Gem,Carb,Iniparib 12/10,MRI NED 2/11,IMRT Radsx40,CT NED11/13,MRI NED3/15

Hi. My friend has just been diagnosed with the TNBC.
She is 67 years old and 48x40mm tumour at her right breast.

Histology revealed: invasive non-specific cancer G3. ER 0%, PR 0%, no HER2, "negative overexpression", Ki67-65%

What are the standard treatment protocols and are there promising clinical trials like with atezolizumab or pembrolizumab?

What is the current stage of the disease?

Thank you!
