My Lovely Wife Heather is now an Angel.  36 years old, 3 children.  Passed away yesterday.  She fought so hard and always remained so positive throughout this battle. She was in so much pain but never really compained. She was very special. I know one day they will be more treatment options for TNBC.  I have requested monetary donations be made to this organization on Heather's behalf.

cdenunzio,

I'm so sorry at Heather's passing.  She was far too young  and your children deserved to have their mother with them for much longer.  May her memory be a comfort and a blessing to you and your kids.

All the best,

Loss of Mother Poem

Now that I am gone,
remember me with smiles and laughter.
And if you need to cry,
cry with your brother or sister
who walks in grief beside you.
And when you need me,
put your arms around anyone
and give to them what you need to give to me.
There are so many who need so much.
I want to leave you something --
something much better than words or sounds.
Look for me in the people I've known
or helped in some special way.
Let me live in your heart
as well as in your mind.
You can love me most
by letting your love reach out to our loved ones,
by embracing them and living in their love.
Love does not die, people do.
So, when all that's left of me is love,
give me away as best you can.

Dear Chris,

My heartfelt condolences to you and your children.  May memories of Heather give you comfort.

Prayers and love during this difficult time,

Connie

Dear Chris DeNunzio,

I hope your wife Heather's soul rests in peace. It sounds like both of you gave your best shot to beating this disease. Sometimes pieces don't always fall in the right places.

My deepest sympathies for you. I know you will be there for the kids. And we are here for you.

Love, Unkle

Chris,  So sorry to hear of Heather's passing.  My mother died at age thirty and left four young children, so I know you have a difficult task ahead of you.  I have a strong feeling that you will be up to the task however, and I will be thinking of you.  Take time to grieve and then gather your strength and do what you have to do.  If you need support, you know we'll be here for you.

Chris, I'm so sorry to hear that Heather has died.   You must be reeling with grief, trying to be strong for your kids.   How scary to think about going it alone, raising your kids without her by your side.  That huge space in our lives and hearts and homes that our spouse's occupy.  How very sad and strange and lonely to have it all transmute into empty space, filled only with memory.  I feel for you, for Heather, who tried her hardest to live well while she had life and to stay with you all for as long as she could, and of course for your darling children, who will have to learn to live in a world where their mother lives in their and your hearts only.   Please come to us anytime for support.  We are here for you and your children.

Love,
Denise
