Thanks Steve for the info about Pam and for your lovely tribute
Pam, you were one of the first people to reply to me when I joined this site last month - I really appreciated it - you and other made me feel so much less alone in all of this. Best wishes for a speedy and healthy recovery.

Dear Pam,
I'm sorry to hear that you are headed back to the hospital. I was in fact recently thinking that it was strange for you not to be around here lately. I will be praying for you and hopefully we will see you around here soon.

Pam:
Hope your day was a good one and that you are getting back to your old self again. As mentioned before, the air quality is not that good now and probably is playing a major part in your immune system. I wish there was something we could get for you to give you a major boost! Hopefully you will be feeling better each day and be on your way home....
Love h.

Oh yes, home again. While there had my port removed much to my disliking. Seems the Federal Law prohibits you from bringing home things like ports, kidney stones, whatever else folks used to collect for their own reasons. Am pouting the loss of the port but if it is giving me blod clot problems then of course it has to go.
The "if" is the problem with me, would have liked to known for sure it was the port before losing it. The other cause for my syndrome would be lung cancer.

Pam:
So glad to hear you are home in your own environment! Sorry you couldn't bring the port home with you but I guess it is hospital property, umhh. I feel better knowing that it is out of you and that now you will heal better.
Heaven forbid you think it is lc that caused your clots....I pray that is not true! Take it easy and be kind to yourself. You have been through a long hard battle and kindness, healing and peace needs to be your guide now.
Thank you my friend for letting us know you are home and safe, once again.
Love Helen in NS
